Hi, there’s this cat that I feed occasionally  .It’s not mine but I
try my best to help it when I can. recently, it stopped coming back
for about two weeks and when it did come back , by the looks of it, it
was starved and unwell. It has a wound at the side of its face and it
wasn’t eating. I have taken it to the vet twice now. I would really
appreciate it if i could get some help to help the cat out. Thank you
very much for your consideration.

I wrote back and asked for more details, especially seeing how emaciated the cat is.

Brandon’s replies:

The cat is now in my house in a room. I have other cats that BELONG to me so I’m trying to keep it away from the others just in case of infection. The cat is the offspring of the neighbour’s cat which was abandon when they shifted house. The cat prior to all this would just hang around my area( USJ 12) with her sister.
The vet is not sure what is wrong with the cat but it is definitely malnourished and dehydrated. It probably got into a fight resulting in the hole on the side of it’s face (it was an abscess). Detected flea yesterday and sprayed medication on it.
At present I am giving the cat eye drops and lysine. The vet gave it an injection and hydration yesterday and will continue with the same treatment this coming Thursday and Sunday.
After recovery, I hope to put it up for adoption I suppose. Truth be told, I haven’t really thought about it. Due to financial trouble it was either put it to sleep or try to help it out one last time this morning.
