Buzz was a street-cat, supposed to be spayed, but had breathing difficulty upon being given the anaesthesia. The spaying was aborted, and subsequent check-up at our panel vet showed that Buzz has diaphragmatic hernia. The treatment is surgery, but it is extremely high-risk. Alternatively, a diaphragmatic hernia cat can live on comfortably as long as it is prevented from fall, bumps and obesity.
Sumitra decided to adopt Buzz and keep her safe in the comforts of her house.
