Jack Russell Terrier for adoption (Koo Swee Por’s)

Dear Dr Chan,

It would be very much appreciated if you could post the following on AnimalCare:

 My rescuer neighbor informed me that her friend was putting her family’s purebreed Jack Russell Terrier (JRT) up for adoption because the whole family was moving overseas to UK by end April 2012. Although the family had originally plan to take the JRT with them, they were eventually heartbroken to discover that they couldn’t do so due to unforseen circumstances. Since my neighbor knew of my other recently fostered JRT who went to a wonderful home, she asked me to help out as the family did not have any rehoming experience. After personally meeting the family, they have entrusted me to find another loving home for their JRT. My neighbor and I have already committed to take the JRT under our foster care if we can’t find a suitable home by end-April so that the efforts can continue.  The JRT’s details are as follows:

Age: 7 1/2 yrs
Gender: Neutered male
Weight: 7.5kg
Health: Has yearly medical checkup, vaccination and Heartgard jab
Behavior: He is a very intelligent, gentle, friendly, healthy and adorable dog; all the standard JRT characteristics.
