Updates on Bonny (from the vet)

I just received a call from the vet with news on Bonny.

Bonny’s TVT has subsided a lot and this week, the vet will proceed with the 2nd jab. Bonny is eating very well and appears happy (as always). However, the main concern is she is still pale despite her good appetite.

Samples of the removed spleen has been sent to the lab for tests and the results will only be known after 2 weeks.

I asked if giving more nutritious food will help and the vet replied in the affirmative. Since we (AnimalCare and Angel Inc.) are covering the entire bill for the medical needs, I told the vet to go ahead with the best possible and most appropriate nutrition for Bonny. After all, we have come this far for her, we would certainly go all the way. The vet says he will consider giving Hills’ AD.

We would truly be grateful if you send positive thoughts to Bonny for her recovery.

Dear Dr. Chan,

Thank you for the updates. I visited Bonny last Saturday as well and had the same updates as you that Bonny will only start her TVT jab again this week and yet to wait for the lab test results. She appears to be afraid when I tried to touch her. She still appears to be skinny.

No significant changes on Bonny and so far all is well.
