Ooh, my cats do gifting. i’ve had dead lizards, birds, rats placed by my front door. One cat actually waited for me to come home and gave me the bird- she had the bird in her mouth and placed it on the floor when I enter the house.
Once, I woke up in the morning to find a rat carcass outside my bedroom door. Sigh, it’s kitty way of thanking me for feedin them,, cleaning their litter trays and taking care of them.
Yes, I have hunters in my inside and outside broods too. It’s their way of saying “thank you” to us, so we cannot fault them for it. We can just stop them, if we see them about to do it. Timmy is a very good hunter, actually. Ginger, he only plays and desecrates TOY mice!! He has torn up two so far.
Now I know my kitties love me….such a nice feeling
Slow blinking? wow!! Now I know what it means. My kitties would give me those and I would tease them back by winking, never knowing what it all meant. Ahh…. <3
My Siamese mix does almost all the ten things. Sometimes, she will climb up to my shoulder and bit my ear and not just licking. It does not hurt much, just that the ear part is quite sensitive and sort of geli.. but she loves doing it. Or course with the purring engine on to the top speed.
