From Koo:

Caty’s stitches have finally been removed! The vet was happy with the
progress on the eye. I didn’t get her vaccinated as the vet
recommended a two-week waiting period for the antibiotics to clear
from her system. She still has the flu and should be isolated from
other cats. The flu could last as long as 2 months (!) but once her
nose discharge stops or at least, decrease by 70%, she’s ready to mix
with other cats. If adopted earlier, the vet recommend a two-week
isolation from other cats. Her weight has now increased to 3kg!
Attached are some pictures:
caty01.jpg: Her e-cone being removed.
caty02.jpg: Caty ready to launch herself. It was a heartstopping
moment as I was afraid she might miss and fall.
caty03.jpg: Amazingly, she got across and didn’t knock anything down!
That means her eye coordination is excellent despite having only one
eye.
caty04.jpg: When she got home, she was busy grooming herself for the
first time in almost two weeks. She immediately started at the vet
clinic after her e-cone was removed. The vet recommended rubbing
non-medicated baby powder on her pressure sores once a day for about 3
days to prevent her from licking them and causing bacteria infection.
caty05.jpg: Caty was able to eat kibbles! I was worried that her diet
of wet food during her e-cone wearing period would now become her
preference. She is certainly versatile and accommodating.
caty06.jpg: The vet advised that the scab on her left eye would come
off naturally.
