I picked up a stray cat with mange this afternoon. After taking him to the vet, he has tested positive for FIV. He is also found to have diarrhoea and constipation and a fever. No diagnosis yet on whats making him sick.The vet says to feed antibiotics and medicine to soften stool, as well as observe poop and pee over the next few days. He has been given Revolution for his mange. His eating is ok (soft foods for now).
I am desperately looking for someone to care for him by tomorrow because i am pregnant and cant take care of him. He is currently kept in my mother’s house as she is away but will be back tomorrow.

a few days after the mange treatment, he is looking much better. he has a good appetite for chicken, but doesnt poop despite being given lactulose. have sent him for an enema, and he was much happier after that.
the vet says he has a hernia, which may require surgery. i am willing to bear the medical costs.
i need someone who is willing to take care of him and give him a chance to live a comfortable life.
