We have subsidised RM200 for the spaying of these 2 cats. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM80) and Berjaya Cares (RM120).

To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>Hi Dr. Chan,I would like to apply for a subsidy for the spaying of 2 female cats – Thong Thong and Venus.Here are their stories:Thong Thong was found with a severely swollen eyeball. I rescued her from an irresponsible cat owner who does not care for her cats properly. After much argument with the owner, I finally managed to take this kitty home. Thong Thong’s eye has already ruptured and she now has to live with one eye. If only her owner took her to the vet earlier for treatment. Thong Thong is now under my care and is still looking for a good home.Venus is a very timid stray that recently appeared in my neighbourhood. As the male cats are already starting to surround her, she needed to be spayed as soon as possible and thankfully my mother managed to catch her. She created quite a havoc at the vet as she was really nervous due to the new surroundings. It would be quite difficult to rehome this little one.
