Hi Dr Chan,

Mongoo the poodle mix male dog was successfully neutered yesterday at a rescue rate (thank you very much) of RM180 after a blood test cleared him of any problems including heartworm-free which costs RM205. As decided earlier, I won’t be applying for any subsidy but I was pleasantly surprised that the Malay family who first rescued him donated RM350 for his vet costs so their (additional) kind deed certainly helped me financially. After his recovery, he will be put up for adoption.

    Hi my name is Jackie and I would like to ask this dog is female or male. If female can you try called her name Candy because my friend has lost her dog last 2 months ago until now cannot find it. If male then is he adopted already?

      Will inform Koo. Maybe you could contact him as well? But according to Koo (and as stated in the post), Mongoo is a male.

      Thanks for your query. As Dr Chan pointed out, the dog is male so unfortunately, it can’t be your friend’s but please ask her to post her lost dog to petfinder.my if she hasn’t done so. I already found a potential adopter through petfinder.my after an interview and we’ll be meeting up with the family today.
