Subject: Spaying subsidy for Princess
To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>hi Dr ChanJust when i thought i will take it easy this week, i found out this morning that an elderly German guy who adopted my puppy three months ago has thrown her out because naturally as a pup, she has been tearing up the garden. I was lucky that Princess was still hanging around the area. I found her after an hour of searching. She is now at the vet and will be neutered tomorrow. This is a good lesson for me in rehoming, i should trust my instinct about people. Anyway, very glad it all went well and I got her back.Very sad that i can’t help the few stray dogs that i saw in the area as well but there is only so much one can do.Here’s Princess in the car and at the vet. She is about 6 months old and is a miniature pinscher cross.thanksEileen NgFrom: Eileen Ng

So much for the theory that Europeans are kinder to animals. It’s an excellent reminder that we can’t generalise. There are compassionate and heartless people everywhere. I’m very grateful you found Princess again, Eileen, and have taken her back into your care. Best wishes for finding a truly loving adopter for her!
This makes me mad and sad! On the upside, I’m glad you got her just in time. I’m curious, how did you find out that she was thrown out? After this news, I have to make a round of calls to those who adopted from me just to check.
