A Pot Pourri of Little Tasks

Since our website became public, we’ve been having very positive and encouraging response. Besides the requests for spaying and neutering and the few emergencies, we also had a call from Port Klang last week asking us how to rescue two puppies stuck in a drain. Another call came from a friend about a lost dog who had walked into her office. And today, we had a call from a lady who doesn’t like cats, but has been feeding some strays in her alley and now wants help in getting them spayed. She will catch them and she will pay for the spaying herself at our vets. Isn’t that nice of her?

We hope more people will respond positively to our call to be kind to the strays.

We started off as a programme to share the message. Now, we have a fund to help people get started. Hopefully, in time to come, more people will view helping animals as one of the charities that they contribute to (besides the old folks, the orphans or those in need of funds for surgery, tsunamis and earthquakes victims, etc.). You don’t have to wait for an opportunity to help animals. They are everywhere….

It also need not be money-charity alone. Many kind-hearted gestures cannot be bought with money.

We got a friend to help the two puppies in the drain in Port Klang. The lost dog and her owner have been reunited.

Rejoice!
