Thank you very much for your encouraging emails. Some of you have asked how you can volunteer to help AnimalCare.
In line with our motto, “Working Together for the Animals”, we definitely welcome your participation in our activities.
Here’s how you can volunteer:
1. Fosterer – to foster a rescued animal for an indefinite period of time and to work with the rehomer.
2. Rehomer – to find adopters for the rescued animals.
3. Adopter – to adopt a rescued animal and give him/her a loving home.
4. Representative– to take charge of a panel vet.– to direct (preferably, to accompany) caregiver and animal to the panel vet for spaying/neutering or medical treatment.– to ensure the consent forms are signed and a photograph of the animal is taken.– to pay the vet for the procedure (AnimalCare will reimburse you after receiving the receipt and the photograph).– to follow up with caregiver and animal, if the need arises.
* Please note that our panel vets only provide the welfare rate to rescued strays and not home pets.
5. General Volunteer – to help in projects and events.
If you’d like to be a volunteer, please indicate the area you’d like to participate in and write to me at chankahyein@gmail.com
Do keep yourself updated on our activities through this blog.
Let’s work together and bring some cheer to our lovely guardian angels in fur, feathers, and others!
