Updates on Felix and Oscar

Today seems to be a day of good news – could it be due to the eclipse?

Here’s an email from Vics, the angel who helped me find a home for Felix and Oscar. Their adopter is Nurain and her family (including six children).

Hello Kah Yein

Nurain has been keeping me up to date about Felix and Oscar.

Felix’s eyes have healed.

Felix is very well behaved and Oscar is the active one, running
all over the house.

And they were only taught once to use the toilet to do their
business. Nurain was prepared to pick poo and was surprised
that they both did their business in the toilet.
Nurain is mighty proud of this.

They even know how to behave with the baby, when playing with
the baby, they kept their claws in! Once Nurain saw Felix kissing
the baby, Maisarah 🙂

Last Saturday morning, Nurain called to inform that Oscar was very quiet and that the night before she saw him limping. Probably injured himself running around the house and must have knocked into furniture. When she carried him, he even lifted his injured paw to her. Awww…. She was going to take him to the vet later that day.
But later on, he was once again running all over, and Nurain
checked him over, he was fine. Guess, he must have wanted
attention and manja 🙂

Shafikah, Nurain’s 2nd daughter has started to bathe them.
And took them to the park and let them climb trees.

So happy that the 2 little guys are happy, the children are happy
and the parents are happy 🙂

KY’s comment: We certainly need more Nurains (and her family) and Vics-es to Heal the World! BTW, please remember to remind Nurain to get Felix and Oscar neutered in Dec 2009 to prevent them from running away (to find a mate)!
