Remember the stray cat, Patches, that Ervina had rescued, and we arranged for treatment at our panel vet? Well, Patches has glaucoma in one eye. It is not serious, but he will go blind. Glaucoma, we are told, is irreversible. Patches has been given eyedrops for now, and needs further check-up to keep his condition under control.
And Ervina, upon hearing this, has decided to adopt Patches. BLESS her kind heart!! Like I always, always say, young people always know what is the right thing to do, AND they do it. They don’t just talk, they DO.
Ervina lives in Ampang but studies in UiTM in Shah Alam. She had wanted to return Patches and keep feeding him, but now that he is going blind, Ervina will give Patches a home.
Ervina has to cope with the possible jealous retaliation from her cat, Penny Lane, but look up there – there’s Penny Lane watching Patches in Ervina’s home. I told Ervina it is best to confine Patches for two weeks before releasing him to be free to roam about. Cats may have a tendency to run back to their place of origin.
AnimalCare will help Ervina with Patches in whatever ways we can.
Bless them all!
