Maxis will be buried today. AnimalCare has helped in a small way, to settle the remainder of the cost of his surgery and other expenses (fostering and burial).
Every animal should be given a fighting chance to live and achieve better wellbeing and we will do our best to provide this whenever a needy animal crosses our path.
Sometimes we are not successful in saving the animal, but at least we have done our very best, and that matters…to us, and to the animal. It is all about treating the animal with dignity and respect.
It is really not easy dealing with animals, because we will never quite know what the animal wants. We can only try to understand, to empathise, and to search deep within our hearts, and do our best within our capacity.
May Maxis be in a better existence now, free from pain and suffering.
May he walk amongst the good and beautiful.
