There will be no surgery for Super. His condition took a turn for the worse this morning and the rescuer has made the decision not to proceed as the chances of Super surviving the surgery are extremely slim.
I visited Super today at the clinic. He responds to people and tries very hard to get up, and he wants to be petted. He has almost lost the mobility of his hind legs now.
Yet, there is hope in his eyes. And he is very happy to see people.
It really breaks your heart.
I will be writing to the donors to advise them on Super’s condition and to make arrangements to return the donations that have been given specifically for Super’s surgery.
Thank you to all who had responded to Super’s plight.
Let’s send positive energy to Super and pray that his final days will be in peace.
P.S. I will be speaking to Super’s rescuer to discuss how best we can help Super. There is also a bill to settle for the x-rays and blood work.
