I received this email from Mdm Fan:
I am seeking someone to adopt a stray pup rescued by Aunty Kiew in mid September 09. Sisi was one of the three pups found loitering in the wet market of Old Klang Road. Aunty Kiew brought them back to a temple (Aunty Kiew’s dog sanctuary where her other 12 rescued pups were kept. These 3 pups were around 2-3 months old then and they had dog collars on their neck just to show that they were actually abandoned! They are very lovable and affectionate and will be the first 3 to greet Aunty Kiew when they see her.
Unfortunately all 3 of them contracted Parvo virus and 2 died on Monday morning. Sisi was the sole survival and has now fully recovered. Currently she is still in a clinic recovering from a small wound and a fractured leg. She should be discharged in about 2 day’s time. She is no longer on drips and is very happy to see Mrs Lai each time she visits her. Mrs Lai has been very generous in paying the medical bills and hope that someone can adopt her. Mrs Lai, besides helping to take care of the 12 puppies rescued by Aunty Kiew, comes twice a day to feed these puppies, clean them and clean the temporary kennel that Aunty Kiew built, feed the bigger dogs and bathe them whenever possible.
Currently she has proposed to build a shed for the dogs as when it rains, there is no proper shelter for these dogs and they end up drenched. Two of the kind folks (Annie and Jim) who had adopted the two earlier puppies who unfortunately died from Parvo virus, has offered assistance to Aunty Kiew in building the shed. We are seeking more help for volunteers to lend a helping hand in this ‘Shed’ project whether money or a helping hand in putting in the effort.
