The family lives in Bandar Tasik Selatan so I told them to bring her to our panel vet in Sri Petaling. Being first time cat parents they asked a lot of questions which I answered. Their willingness to learn and their sense of responsibility (they were aware and eager to followup on her medical needs) put me at ease. They even called me later that night to ask if Royal Canin was an appropriate brand of cat food.
Miza is Ridhuan’s sister and she has experience with cat care. I’m sure the family will have enough caregivers supporting them in their journey to being cat parents. Their little boy is very well-behaved (trust me, I’ve seen plenty of kids…) a sign of good parenting. I place my trust in them.
Panthera is re-adopted!
If you remember, a few weeks ago, Panthera, our Egyptian beauty, was adopted by expatriate Jack, but things did not quite work out in Jack’s household, so Panthera was returned to us.
Yesterday, Miza contacted me asking about Dino, and we arranged for a viewing and guess what, it was Panthera’s lucky day!!
Here’s the full account from fosterer and volunteer, Terry Saw:
Panthera had been adopted by Ridhuan and his family. That’s his little boy in the picture who’s absolutely enamoured with Panthera. It was love at first sight as he first picked her up and she looked back with her beautiful Egyptian eyes.
