Ms Kwan Bee brought a stray male cat whom her family had been looking after for neutering at our panel vet two days ago, and we put up this posting: http://animalcare.my/2009/10/male-stray-cat-neutered.html
A lady called Alyaa saw the posting and asked where the cat was located, so we got talking and Alyaa said the cat really looks like her lost cat. I checked with Kwan Bee and she said she had been looking after this cat since he was a kitten, then he went away for some time and reappeared. Kwan Bee’s children now adores the cat and he gets to come into the house too. It seems he is a very well-behaved cat and never steals food or dirties the garden.
Alyaa said she has lost her cat for about a month now. So we couldn’t be sure, and hence, I got Alyaa in touch with Kwan Bee and a meeting was arranged for this evening for Alyaa to take a look at the cat. We hoped it is Alyaa’s cat so that the cat can be reunited with his owner. But then again, the cat seems very at home in Kwan Bee’s house now.
To cut a long story short, it turned out that it is NOT Alyaa’s cat. She just text me.
Well, we’re really sorry to hear that. We hope Alyaa’s cat will come home to her soon. Otherwise, we would just have to be comforted knowing that cats are independent creatures and they would know how to look after themselves.
