I received this from Mandy Chee (012-3616163) a few days ago:
We found a puppy at a kopitiam near my house and it has a scalded back (possibly caused by someone pouring hot water or oil over it) but is otherwise healthy. So i’m fostering the puppy now till we find a home for it.
Do u think that if i e-mail u some of the pics you can find an adopter for the puppy? Anyone who is interested can view the pup at my house but i need your assistance to help me find a loving home for this pup. Otherwise, our last option would be bringing this pup to an adoption drive on the 7th of Nov at summit which is organise by the Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better foundation (i’ve contacted them the day i found the pup and was told to foster the pup for the time being as there was an outbreak of distemper amongst all the pups at the transit home). So i hope u can help me in finding a loving home for this puppy. Btw, it’s a male and i named him ‘Tiger’ although my dad insist in calling him ‘Goldie’ (such a girly name), hopefully the name will make him grow big and strong..like a tiger.
And today, the patch has healed completely:
The scar on Tiger’s back has completely healed according to the vet, so i guess he’s ready for adoption should there be anyone who is interested.
Description: He’s extermely intelligent and obedient. Although just being with us for a couple of days, he’s already responding to commands and only follows us when we brought him to the playground,
never once leaving our sight. He loves to roll on the grass and plays hide and seek. He also mingles well with my other dogs. Surprisingly, after the ordeal which leaves him with a scarred back (caused either by scalding water or oil and even possibly acid, according to the vet) he cosy up to humans easily.
