As I was waiting with Tiger for our turn at the vet’s, I saw two men walk into the clinic. They appeared to be very concerned about a dog they had apparently brought in, and hurriedly went to the back of the clinic which was the boarding area for dogs.
I saw the vet explaining a lot of things to them.
After that, one of the men came out, and he smiled at me, seemingly relieved. So I asked him what was wrong and he told me they had rescued a dog who had been hit by a vehicle and the “entire bone was jutting out”. They brought the dog in to be treated and now the surgery has been done and the dog is recovering. I wasn’t quite sure what he meant, but I sensed perhaps their vehicle had accidentally hit the dog as he seemed very apologetic.
Well, accidents do happen, but I’m glad they were responsible and caring enough to bring the dog in for treatment and not leave the dog to die or have it put to sleep.
So I asked him what he was going to do with the dog after that, and he quickly asked me if I’d like to adopt it. I said I would take a look, take a photo, and advertise it for them.
