Gold is returned to her colony

Flashback: Gold was rescued by Teresa from Jalan Gasing some six weeks ago.  Gold had just given birth and two of her kittens had died.  She was rescued with her remaining kitten, Goldie (who subsequently passed away too).  Both were fostered by Terry, and we sent them for treatment.  Unfortunately, Goldie did not make it.

Gold was spayed after Goldie was weaned off mother’s milk.  She grew very depressed after Goldie passed away.  It was heart-wrenching when Terry found her standing over Goldie’s body and looking at Terry, asking for help.  Terry wanted to spend more time with her during her depression and recovery period, hence her release was postponed.

Today, it was time to return Gold to her colony where there would be feeders looking after her.

So, Terry and I brought Gold back to Jalan Gasing this morning, while visiting Tigger.  When I saw her today, she looked much, much better than the first time I saw her when newly rescued.

We were met by Teresa who would be releasing her back into her former colony.

Have a great life, Gold!
