One rescued puppy has passed away

http://animalcare.my/2009/12/12-puppies-rescued-from-klang-dog-pound.html

If you remember, we rescued 12 puppies from the Klang Dog Pound on 14th December, and they were handed over to MDDB for treatment and fostering.

Eight of these puppies were tested positive for distemper/parvo/corona and MBBD appealed for volunteers to help foster them.  They had to be separated from healthy dogs.

Our volunteer, Mandy, helped foster three of them, but had to send them for boarding yesterday because she has work assignment overseas.  These puppies looked very healthy and were actively playing.

Mandy just informed me that one puppy has passed away now.  We are very sad to hear this, and wish the puppy a better life in a new existence (free from dogcatchers, and free from being euthanised).

This is the plight of the puppies that are captured and sent to the pound.

Please help them by practising CNRM.  We already have a vet on our AnimalCare panel in Klang now, and our contact person is Mandy.  Her email is mandy.csh@gmail.com, or you could also contact me to arrange for spaying/neutering of stray cats and dogs.

Please help us control the breeding of dogs in Klang (or anywhere, for that matter).  The plight of stray animals is extremely sad.

We can help them by controlling the population.

Meanwhile, MDDB needs help in fostering some of the puppies we have rescued.  Please contact them, if you can help.
