We made a trip up to LLLP to visit the newly-rescued dogs, as well as to bring dogfood up for them.
The dogs couldn’t even wait for us to go up to the farmhouse, they were already there to greet us at the gate, so we stopped the car, and took a packet of food out for them. They were HUNGRY!
Each dog must have eaten at least five helpings of food. To my relief, they love the AvoDerm.
Tai Kor eating the kibbles.
More dogs…some were ex-Ketam. Every bit of kibble was eaten up.
Eat up, friends, eat up! There’s plenty for everyone.
We went up to the farmhouse. Here’s Ainey with Jimmy and another dog.
Ainey cleaning off eye discharge on Jimmy.
Some were still very skinny. The one at the back is one of the Klang dogs. We recognise him from his fluffy tail.
According to Mr Mariappan, eight more have already been adopted by Bentong folks (this brings the total to 13), and this includes all the “nice-looking” ones, ie. Goldy, Jeff (he chases chickens), Shorty, Perdita, Selphie and a few more. We were very happy to hear this. This lessens the burden of Mr Mariappan. And ours, too.
We gave Vetri DMG (the immune booster) to a few dogs.
Another one…open up, please. It was very easy to feed them.

Tai Kor, also watching…
This is Meiji Lai. I had just spoken to her yesterday on the phone. She runs a dog sanctuary in Raub. I had promised we would visit and help her in whatever ways we can. Meiji drove down to LLLP to meet us and take us up to Raub.
So, off we went…to Raub.
And, what an adventure!!
