After a long “break” from school, it’s back to work again for me today, and I will not be able to run around for the animals as much as I would like to.
We brought back a total of nine of the Klang rescued dogs here, either for treatment or to be adopted (Shaggy, Tara and the other seven). All need the human touch to help them recover.
Wendy, Perky and Sweetie are still boarded at PAWS. It would be good if a volunteer can bring cooked food for them daily as we have been pampering them with this every day. Believe me, they need the extra food. Perky doesn’t eat kibbles. It would be better too if someone could foster them because they cannot be vaccinated yet. There are 400 dogs at PAWS. They could easily pick up some diseases.
Roger is being fostered in a home, but only for a few more days. If there are no takers for him, he would have to go back to PAWS. Roger is a very gentle and handsome dog. He is estimated to be about 6 years old.
Sean is boarded in a new bathroom now (!), and is being treated for his distemper cough.
Jackie has undergone her eye operation and has been spayed. She still has not perked up, though her appetite is still good. We need a fosterer for Jackie. I think she is feeling very miserable being caged up at the vet’s. She sleeps most of the time.
