Kittens in need of fostering

While we were driving to Bentong yesterday, I received a call from Mr Wong.  He had just rescued two tiny kittens and asked if we could foster them as he cannot handle very young kittens.

Well, we don’t have any fosterers right now, so I made a few phonecalls.

Finally, we managed to find a paid fosterer, and I discussed it with Mr Wong.  And so, it was arranged that Mr Wong would send the kittens to the fosterer, we will pay for the fostering fee (one month), and after that, Mr Wong will rehome the kittens.

Now, this I like – we are working together and the kittens are not dumped on us.  In the past, many kittens had been dumped on us before (even by rescuers).  They wash their hand clean after that and they don’t care anymore (It’s-your-problem-now-not-mine).

AnimalCare is looking for volunteer kitten/puppy/dog fosterers.  If you can help, please contact me.  If you are a home-maker or retiree, we will share with you how to take care of kittens/puppies.  Everyone can learn if he or she cares.

These are the two kittens (I know you can’t see much).  We will put the kittens up for adoption after one month, but in the event that we cannot find any adopters, Mr Wong says he will rehome them.
