Updates on PJay

Ainey’s updates on PJay:

when i reached the vet’s tonight, PJay’s surgery had just completed not too long ago… he has not awaken from the anesthetic when i saw him… Dr Edmund then showed the x-rays he took after the surgery… he explained about the metal rod and wires that were used… the whole surgery took close to 2 hours, and PJay was also neutered at the same time… Dr Edmund will give PJay painkillers as he should still be in pain… after 10 days, the sutures will be removed… then, we need a temporary fosterer for PJay for 2 months, as the metal rod needs to be taken out then…

PJay also has ticks, so the vets will apply tick control on him, one that will be suitable for his condition, as he is just out from surgery… the vets do not want to cause him more discomfort…

before i left the vet’s, i went to see PJay again, and he’s starting to wake up… i wish PJay a smooth recovery and that he’ll be able to walk on all 4s again very soon…

Get well soon, PJay!
We’re all rooting for your quick recovery.
We need a fosterer for PJay for 2 months after discharge.  The metal rod would have to be taken out after this period.  If you are able to help foster PJay, please contact me.
