I have been highlighting this case for a few days now. Apparently (according to the neighbours), this family had kept many (as many as 20 at one time) dogs in their house compound. Two weeks ago, they moved out, and left all the dogs behind.
The dogs do not have any food. A good samaritan wrote to me about them when she chanced upon the house and the dogs.
We have a friend now working at getting the proper authorities to help these dogs. But while that is happening (which normally takes time), we are providing food for the dogs.
I have appealed to people who live in the Kuchai Lama area to help us feed these dogs on a daily basis. We have left dogfood with the neighbours. If you can help, please write to me directly. I have the address of the house.
There may be a total of 11 dogs (as counted by our volunteer on two days). Two are chained up, and food has to be directed with a pole to these two dogs.
