Another happy story for a Sunday morning

My mum has been updating me daily on Sean (and now, Tara).  It seems now, Tara is the fierce one, and will not take nonsense from playful Sean.  Well, it is no surprise since Tara is older, and Sean is still a puppy.

Tara’s appetite is good today.  Sean’s is, well, as usual, VERY good.

But here’s a piece of happy news.  Mum says her next-door neighbour has grown very fond of Sean, and has now bought some chicken jerky treats and kept them in his car.  He feeds Sean every day, after coming back from work, through the fence.  He says it seems Sean sits and shakes hands with him.  Well, clever Sean!

And, lucky Sean (and lucky Tara, too)!

It is a blessing to have good neighbours, and a greater blessing, if they love your pets, too.

P.S.  Sean and Tara are two of the 59 dogs we took out from the Klang Dog Pound in December.  Both were diagnosed with distemper, have been treated, and now live with my parents.  Distemper is NOT a death sentence on any dog.  PLEASE do not opt for the easiest way out (euthanasia).  Distemper CAN be treated.  Local breeds stand a good chance of recovery because they have a stronger immune system.
