I just received a call from Dr Loh, the vet at the clinic where Olivia is boarding now.
I have not written about this, but Oliver did tell me that Sandra (Olivia’s daughter) is EXTREMELY naughty. Ever since being fostered by Oliver, Sandra has destroyed all his furniture, bitten on his cables, and even dragged his 1.25kg dumb-bells around the house.
Me? Naughty?
Well, guess what? Olivia (the mum-dog) seems to be as naughty as well. Dr Loh said on the first day, she bit the plastic tubing in her cage. Then, they transferred her to another cage, and she bit the metal lock. Subsequently, they transferred her to a large cage, and she squeezed her head out between the railings. Then, they put her in an upper level cage and she squeezed her head out of the railings on the ceiling of the cage. Now, the vets have put a piece of metal on top of the ceiling. So far, no further antics.
Like mother, like daughter?
Olivia cannot be spayed yet because her mammary glands are still enlarged. We are waiting for them to shrink and dry up. Oliver has made plans to rehome Olivia after she is spayed. But he has no fosterer for Olivia, so we are helping him in boarding costs.
