Lucky “Mrs Towel”

“Mrs Towel” is the 8-week-old kitten rescued by the Australian lady, Blanca, who is here on a 4-day stay with her husband, Curtis Andressen, and their son.

This evening, my husband drove me to Holiday Villa to collect Mrs Towel from where the Andressen family is staying.

Blanca, Curtis, their son, and Mrs Towel.
In her short stay here, Blanca rescued two kittens off the street.  Both were skin and bones.  One didn’t make it, but Mrs Towel did, and is now looking pretty good.  Blanca says they named her Mrs Towel because they managed to catch her with a towel.  She was also very wild.
Just before we left with Mrs Towel, their little son burst into tears.  Blanca had to tell him Mrs Towel would be going on the plane with them to Australia tomorrow.  Poor little thing…he was crying so uncontrollably.  Curtis says their son is just like the mother!
Blanca said when they were in Taiwan, they rescued a dog off the street.  And they spent thousands getting the dog back and finally got him rehomed in Canada!
From Holiday Villa, we took Mrs Towel to the fosterer, Sudhamma.  For a supposedly “wild” cat, Mrs Towel was extremely well-behaved in the car.
Mrs Towel is very pretty, with tiger stripes.
Mrs Towel meets Jessie, Sudhamma’s cat.
And here’s even better news…Mrs Towel already has an adopter.  Daniel Azlan, one of our friends, will adopt Mrs Towel.
Mrs Towel is sure one lucky gal.
Blanca has left me her email address and I will update her with news about Mrs Towel.
