Ah Fatt is the gentleman who has been giving Oliver a lot of help ever since the latter rescued Olivia, Sandra and gang.
This evening, Oliver text me to ask if I could help Ah Fatt because someone had given him a rescued kitten which was still very small.
So, Ah Fatt called and asked me to speak to his wife. I told Mrs Fatt what to do, and seems like she is already doing everything right even though she has never handled a single kitten all her life. She had already bought kitten milk, is using a feeding bottle, and keeping the kitten warm. And she stimulates for bowel movement and urination. But she was very concerned that the kitten’s last feed was at 11am and has been sleeping ever since.
I told her how to check for dehydration, and it was found that the kitten is ok. So, I offered her to bring the kitten to our panel vet before it closes, but she decided to wait a bit until tomorrow.
I hope all will be well.
It is really nice, for a change, to have someone who is willing to learn and not (which is often the norm) to have people dump kittens and puppies on us.
We hope more people would be willing to learn to foster puppies and kittens. We will help you in any way possible, but please don’t dump the poor little animals on poor us! We already have our hands full, and we are not a shelter. People seem to think we are able to find fosterers easily but the truth is we only have one kitten fosterer and one puppy fosterer. We need more. So, if you are interested to learn, please contact me.
