Today must be our record number of cases so far. We had eight cats spayed and neutered – 7 from rescuer Joanne (4 males and 3 females) and 1 from Rani.
Rani’s rescued cat
Three of Joanne’s female cats at Mayo Clinic, waiting for their turns.
Two of Joanne’s males at Healing Rooms
One more male. This one has hernia, so a different procedure is required.
The fourth male.
Joanne came to me requesting spay-neuter for 10 stray cats that she is feeding. I scheduled 7 for today and another 3 for tomorrow at our two panel vets in Subang Jaya. It seems people just keep dumping cats on her and she actually has 30 cats to look after now.
If you’d like to support us to help these independent rescuers spay and neuter the animals they are managing, please contact me.
We have many, many requests weekly, and we certainly need more support. So far, we have never turned down any spay-neuter case. While some of us do the actual hands-on, others can support by contributing in cash. Together, we help the animals as much as we can.
