Thank you for your CNY blessings

Many children these days do not know the significance of the “angpow” on Chinese New Year, and, sadly, they equate it to money (the bigger the angpow, the better it is).

The angpow is traditionally meant as a token which accompanies a blessing from an adult to those who are younger (and/or unmarried).  Big or small, it is to be appreciated, and received with humble gratitude.  The blessing and the thought are more important.

We received four angpows yesterday and today, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations, and we’d like to thank our donors for their generous and very meaningful blessings to the animals.

And please allow us the honour of sending you blessings of good health and happiness, too.

Thank you for thinking of the animals on this auspicious occasion.
May you all be blessed with great things in life.
