Tam Tam has passed the critical stage

Yesterday, in between nursing Teddybear and rushing around to check on the 23 Selayang puppies, I chanced upon meeting Julie and Tam Tam.  Julie had brought Tam Tam for a check-up and my, my, my….Tam Tam is feisty again.

Tam Tam and Julie

Julie has also been updating me constantly on Tam Tam’s progress.  From a non-eating state, she is now eating on her own and active again.

Here’s Julie’s updates:

I am delighted and truly it’s a relief that Tam Tam had passed through the critical stage.
After the amputation of her leg on the 17th Feb Tam Tam was feeble and “inferior”.

From 17th to 24th Feb (8 days) I had to force feed her with syringe her A/D food and the many medicines. I feed her at 5.30am before going to work. It was an effort for me as I had to be on the road at 6.30am at least to office.

Tam Tam got the message of “love” and she started to eat on her own on the 25th Feb morning. I was so happy.

Yesterday, I brought Tam to see doctor and together with you we witnessed that Tam is healthy, gained some weight and normal. She is an overcomer. She walks around with her three legs and though limp a bit because of her hind legs, she is like a normal, alert kitty. I am very proud of her courage. We do not know what she had gone through to have suffered such pain and consequences but something tells about Tam, and that is she is a survivor !!

Our (and many others) love, care and prayers have sanctified her and made her well and “whole” again.

Thank you Dr Chan for being with me when I needed a friend to lean on. Rescue and
compassion towards the animals will never be a lonely world if we have one another to lean on.

God Bless.

Tam Tam wouldn’t have made it this far if not for Julie.  Tender loving care makes a WORLD of difference to animals.  That “extra mile” can make a big difference.  Sometimes, it can even mean life and death.  Very often, animals fight on because they have a sense of belonging.  Bless their kind hearts – they fight on to live because they love us and want to see us happy again.
