Ben text me at 4.00pm this evening, telling me that he was on his way with Ebony to our panel vet. Apparently, Ebony did not have much of an appetite earlier on and later, had nasal discharge.
Ben brought Julea along as well.
Since I was with the PBJ gang at another clinic, I could not meet up with Ben.
I was informed later than Ebony has been re-admitted now, for treatment. She is put on drips.
The vet said it may be distemper, but there is no cure for distemper. It is all about treating and relieving the symptoms. It is up to the dog’s immune system to fight off the disease.
Be strong, Ebony, and hang on.
Please send positive healing energy to Ebony. She’s been through so much and has come this far.

Such is the sad plight of little puppies captured and put in the dog pound. Being so young, they pick up diseases very easily.
