Patches, a lovely good-natured dog recently met with a terrible hit-and-run accident, which left his legs seriously crushed and injured. Some kind souls, Adeline and Yen Ni, took the dog directly to a vet and he has received proper medical attention and surgery. However, whether he can walk or not is yet to be determined. Surgery has only been done over the last few days, and he is still in a very critical condition.
The vet that he is in is not willing to keep him there for long; they want him to leave the vet by early next week! So this is a very urgent appeal for someone to please at least foster him for now until we can find him a permanent home (of course, if anyone who is willing to adopt him permanently, that would be the best!). As he has just come out of surgery, is recuperating and probably not able to move much, it would be best if the home he goes to has someone who can look after him quite closely over the next few weeks.
