Sandra rescued a dog from the street on Saturday, and brought the dog to our panel vet.
I visited the dog today. He has over 100 maggots in a wound on his leg, and this has been cleaned this morning. However, the vet suspects that the dog has more than just superficial wounds, and this can only be ascertained with blood work and further tests.
We have given our medical subsidy to help in the medical treament of this dog.
The bandaged area is where the maggot wound was.
He looks like a Golden Retriever mix.
