Two cats need to be rehomed urgently

Debbie is an expatriate who has been in Malaysia for three years.  During this time, she rescued a few cats, but she will be leaving Malaysia at the end of June and she needs to find homes for two of these cats, Fearless and Cammo.

If you would like to adopt these cats, please contact Debbie at clutternchaos@yahoo.com.

From Debbie:

I arrived in KL almost three years ago. During my time here I’ve been doing my own sort of animal rescue, spay and neuter program. Sadly, my time in Malaysia is coming to an end and I have two friends remaining that I am DESPERATE to find LIFETIME homes. I would take them with me but, I brought a cat and dog with me to Malaysia. While my dog would be thrilled to have more furry friends my soon to be 14 year old cat has made it very clear that there is only room in our house for one cat right now and that space belongs to him and him alone! Althought I’ve tried I’ve not been able to convince my elderly friend otherwise and to do so would be really unfair to him. If you have the space in your heart and home to share with a feline companion would you please consider one of the cats below. I ask for no monetary compensation for their vet bills. The only thing I do ask is that you make the commitment to keep the cat for the duration of it’s life, that you do your best to provide the highest quality of life for my feline friends and that you keep in touch with me now and then to let me know how my friends are growing and living with you— wherever that might be. Serious inquiries can contact me via e-mail: clutternchaos@yahoo.com and arrangements can be made for you to meet the cat(s) of your choice. Thank you for your time and for considering one of these special felines.

Cammo
Cammo is a 2 year old spayed female Tortie who showed up outside my house about a year ago. I think someone may have dumped her because she is use to humans. She has a slight disability in that her right rear leg must have been injured when she was very young as she walks with a slightly weird gate. The vet said that it was an old injury, there wasn’t anything they really could do for her, and it doesn’t really bother her. She can still fully use the leg. She runs and jumps with the rest of the cats just fine. She just does it a little differently. She is a great hunter and mouser. She will let you pet her on occasion and you CAN pick her up if you must but she will growl to let you know she’d much rather be on the ground. In true Tortie fashion things should be done on her schedule. She would be a very low maintenance kitty. A nice dish of kibble with some can food mixed in twice a day, fresh water always, a litter pan, scratching post, a few toys, and some loving words each day and she would be set. As mentioned she is spayed, micro-chipped, Felv/Fiv negative, and has a current rabies and fvrcp vaccination.
Fearless
This brown tabby, Fearless, is the child of of one of my first rescues here in KL. Sadly his mom passed away due to complications from her spay and other under lying medical conditions. As his names imply he is very brave and bold Fearless is a handsome, long tailed, social, super playful boy who really enjoys company. He loves to play with humans, has been tollerant and puts up with a pre-schoolers attempt at playing with him and tolerates the company of a few other cats and my big dog. Fearless is also a supurb hunter Fearless is 2 1/2 years old, neutered , micro-chipped, felv/fiv negative, and has a current rabies and fvrcp vaccination. His needs would be similar to Cammy’s except he would like to have a little more interaction!
Fearless and Cammy are used to hanging out and playing with each other. They could be adopted together but it isn’t necessary. Safe, loving, homes must be found by June 27th 2010.
