It looked like another “Joanie” case again.
Asmalinda Hassan wrote to me this afternoon, requesting for financial assistance for Mama Blacky, a pregnant homeless cat she had rescued recently.
Mama Blacky delivered three babies on 1st August, but on the 11th, she appeared to be sick. Asmalinda brought Mama Blacky to the vet and it was discovered that there were dead foetuses inside her. An operation was needed urgently to remove the dead foetuses but Asmalinda did not have the funds for it. Knowing how critical this condition is, I told her to proceed with the operation. We would help her out with our funds. The vet also called me to explain what needed to be done.
The operation was carried out this afternoon, and Mama Blacky is now in recovery. According to the vet, decomposition had already set in and there wasn’t much tissue left for suture (sounds exactly the same as Joanie’s case).
Mama Blacky will be boarded until Monday.
We hope she gets well soon and will pray for her complete recovery.
