Here’s updates from Julie, on Lion:
Lion was adopted on first day of Raya.
Yesterday, 25 days later,(3-10-2010) Mr Ramon (the adopter) brought Lion to vet. I was there to meet Lion and Ramon.
Lion has been so well taken care of. The skin dry problem is solved, the hair has grown more shiny and curly. He is also very “solid” (has put on weight)>
Ramon gave Lion his vaccination as well as the booster for heartworm.
According to Ramon, Lion is a good “rat hunter” in the garden. He welcomes back Grandpa and Grandma when they return from their errands. Needless to say when Ramon comes home from work, Lion gives Ramon a lot of welcome greetings and hugs. Lion is called “Water-dog” because he loves Grandpa and Grandma to spray water on him. Lion loves to play with water.
In short, Ramon has indeed given excellent care to Lion.
In these 25 days, Lion has learnt a lot of commands and is very well behaved when going for car rides. This amazes me as when they left the clinic, I see Lion very well behaved in the car seat. Unlike when I took him to clinic, he was jumping here and there and trying to get over to my steering wheel even though I had leashed him to the car seat at the back, he would come to the front and get choked. I had to u-turn and go back home and bring the cage and caged him.
All the good comments and 180 degrees turn of character from Lion is a big question mark to me. Perhaps the animals know that their final destination has been found and this is certainly HOME SWEET HOME and also, perhaps they like to please their Master.
I am glad Lion got a HOME and LOVE.
Let us continue to Work together For the Animals.
