Female dog spayed

Mr Lim is a 70-year old retiree from Petaling Jaya.  Together with his neighbours, they look after some stray dogs in their neighbourhood.  A few days ago, he contacted me to ask if we could help him spay-neuter some of the dogs.

This morning, Mr Lim brought one of the female dogs for spaying under our sponsorship.

Here’s the dog.  She was very nervous initially because being a free-roaming stray, she certainly wasn’t used to being transported in a car or kept in a cage.
I enlisted the help of the vet’s assistant to calm the dog down at the clinic and keep her company.  She was only spayed much later (after she was calmer and more composed).
I checked again later in the evening, and the dog had already woken up and was doing well.  Mr Lim will collect the dog tomorrow.  We’d also like to thank Mr Lim for his donation to our fund.
According to Mr Lim, there is also a litter of puppies from this pack of dogs.  Since we do not have a shelter, we could not help him in this area.  I have asked Mr Lim to contact MDDB to see if they would be able to help out.
