Mrs Pathma is another cat rescuer from Subang Jaya. She feeds the stray cats in her neighbourhood and used to get them spayed and neutered whenever she could. A few weeks ago, Mrs Pathma called to ask for our help in getting some of the female cats spayed.
Today, she brought one female cat to our panel vet for spaying under our sponsorship.
Here’s the cat. She looked a little angry at being caged…
Mrs Pathma will take the cat home this evening and nurse her until full recovery before returning her to the colony.
I’ve been getting quite a number of calls from people who practise CNRM in their neighbourhood and we are glad to be able to assist them in this small way. This is exactly what we are encouraging people to do – just take care of the stray animals around your house by helping to keep their population under control. If the public does not complain, the authorities would not capture the animals to have them put down. A lot of needless suffering can thus be prevented.
Practise CNRM, and please spread the message to others.
