It’s heartening to know that the Kuwait Society for the Protection of Animals and their Habitat has teamed up with the Kuwait Oil Company to carry out extensive TNR to help control the stray dog population on their streets in a humane and compassionate way. Adoptable dogs will also be rehomed in their new shelter.
It will be the first TNR programme in Kuwait and they are investing in the most advanced and humane methods available.

Can we hope that the authorities in our country might learn from Kuwait? If not, perhaps some private corporations might wish to take up this initiative and start the ball rolling?
