Roselin Mazlan sent a rescued female dog, whom she named Ms J, for spaying under our sponsorship today. Ms J is also up for adoption, so if you are interested, please contact Roselin at rosegem91@gmail.com
Here’s some background on Ms J (from Roselin):
We had wanted to put Ms J up for adoption soon after having rescued her, but upon noticing her unusually big belly for a dog of small frame, we took her to a vet who discovered that she had sand and worms in her stomach and a skin problem as well. So I had no choice but to foster her.
I bought a big cage for Ms J and she was very happy and comfortable in it. For the first week, she refused to even come out! When I carried her out and put her on the grass, she would just stand in fear. I had to put her on my lap and caress her until she went to sleep. This went on daily.
Ms J is such a friendly, loving and sweet dog who loves to be cuddled. Later, two more rescued puppies joined her and when we took these two to be spayed and boarded for several days, Ms J really cried every day and night for them!
Soon, I started releasing them from the cage to let them play in the garden. As you know, I have 14 cats, and Ms J and the two puppies do not attack the cats at all. Once, one of the cats even rolled on his stomach in front of them, and they just looked.
It seems like Ms J and the two puppies can live in harmony with cats. We’ve advertised for their adoption but there has been no takers. We hope someone would adopt them and give them a loving home.
