It’s been a long journey for Countess, from being rescued from her former “home” where she was clearly neglected with a maggot-eaten paw, to undergoing amputation of the arm and being spayed, and today…finally, Countess gets to go home!
I was at the clinic today with Nandhini and Roselin:
Nandhini coaxing Countess to come out of the cage.
Hi, Countess! How have you been? That’s Roselin on the right.
The vet said to let Countess down so that she could walk a bit. She did, but quickly settled down comfortably at a corner and refused to move.

The wound and stitches have healed very well.
The right arm has been amputated. The vet says Countess needs exercise, and walking on the grass would be the best since it’s a rough surface.
