Market CNRM – Return to Market Day 2

Ah Fatt helped pick up the 6 cats (5 females and 1 male, all spayed-neutered, but this includes 2 previously-spayed females whose ears have now been notched) and sent them back to the market at 8pm this evening.

We met him there.

 Here are four of them.

 Another two.

This little boy is Ah Fatt’s youngest son.
He’s learning the ropes from his dad, obviously.
Look at that adorable little kitten.  He’s come to greet his friends again.

 Deciding where to put who…
Luckily Ah Fatt remembers who belongs where.

 Welcome home, friends!

This is the only neutered male from this batch.
He is extremely friendly.  Even the vet said so.

By the way, this afternoon, I went to the market to check on yesterday’s batch.  All of them are alright.  They are back to their respective territories already.

Ah Lai, is Ah Fatt’s wife.  She helps with all the rescue work too.

 Remember this big friendly female?

With ten cats returned now, only one is left and that would be Comel, the pretty little black-and-white cat who is being treated for flu at the clinic.  The vet she can already been spayed tomorrow.  Comel is being fed by a pakcik near the market.

We had loaded three cages and one trap into the car and was about to leave for home when we spotted one cat inside our car!  And ironically, she’s the one who escaped capture the other day.  She’s a recently-dumped mother-cat, dumped at the market together with her litter of kittens.  Maybe she went into the car so that we could take her to be spayed?  Well, next round, girl.

We then stopped for dinner.  While the release was going on, Koo had responded to Mei Leng’s S.O.S. to rescue the injured puppy from Puchong.  Mei Leng needed a clinic that was still open so I said if they manage to catch the puppy, I’ll lead them to the clinic in PJ with the 24-hour call-up service.

As we were about to finish dinner, Mei Leng called to say Koo had captured the puppy.

Great!  That was quick!

So we went home, and I waited for their call when they neared Subang Jaya.

While waiting, I washed all the cages and the traps,
and Cow did an inspection after that.

Yes, all in good working order…

Indy sniffed at whatever smells he could…

Calico Cleo watched nearby.
She is too much of a princess to go near such things….

Mei Leng called….they were already at the Pyramid, so off I went….

Next story, please….
(And I promise you, it’s a good one….)
