Emma sent these updates and photos below. Toby was diagnosed with kidney insufficiency when he was brought in and was in dire straits, but he showed marked improvement after 2 days.

Hi Kah Yein,
Just want to update you on Toby.
Today he seems to be himself again, teasing me and what’s worse is he shoots like a bullet when he heard me open his bottle of supplement, Nefrotec. Think it’s going to be a struggle putting anything in his mouth! He’s currently also on Ipakitine and Azodyl. He’s not confine to a room anymore and is playing and looking out the window.
The first day I took him home was a challenge, Toby was not eating nor peeing
He was meowing so loud asking for food but didn’t want to eat. I gave him vitamin B to improve his appetite plus he had mouth ulcer. Since he didn’t pee for the last 24 hours, I took him to the clinic for subcutaneous fluid.
And yes he began to eat, small amounts but that was something. I gave him small amounts of food between 4-5 hour intervals which meant that i have to go back home during my lunch break.
I’m somewhat relief and imagine that just last week i was so overwhelmed with CRF.
I guess one has to take one step at a time …….
Regards,
emma.
Thanks very much for the updates, Emma.
Toby is in very good hands.
