Nandhini’s phone had been ringing almost non-stop ever since I put up the posting on Kimba. A total of NINE people have offered to either foster or adopt the cute little blue-point kitten who was rescued from the middle of the road.
The first to call in was Sharon, minutes after my posting was up.
After vetting through all the potential offers, Nandhini decided to let Sharon adopt Kimba since she has children who love pets and can play with Kimba, and Sharon also has a poodle, one more adult cat and a kitten whom she had adopted.
Sounds perfect….
Kimba, with Sharon’s daughter last night, in their home.
Have a great life, Kimba!
And thank you, Nandhini and Sharon.
So what makes one animal so adoptable and another not-so? Is it the looks? Perhaps, but I’d like to believe it is actually all about affinity and the intricate network of how the universe works. And, everybody’s efforts too, of course!
I did ask Nandhini if she had offered the other adopters to take the Popsicles instead. She did, but they just wanted Kimba.
See my point? Life is more complex than we’d ever be able to understand. Just do our best and leave the rest, and sometimes, don’t even ask “Why?”!!
