From Cassie:
Dear Dr. Kah Yein,
I sent you an email in appeal for fosterers or adopters for One Mama Cat and 4 Kittens left at the Buddhist Maha Vihara last week on 27 October 2011.
I then put up pics of then in Pet Finder and KTAJ Adoption House as well as with your kind help, utting them up on your blog.
I manage to find homes for all of them.
Putih ( Female ) was taken by a malay family of 3, for their little daughter age 7, living in Pandan Perdana.. They said they will pay for the spaying fees when we come for collection when kitten is of age. Putih’s new name is Mimie. They will keep her inside the house.
Orange ( Male ) was taken yesterday by an Australian lady staying at Jln Bangkung Bangsar. She says that wherever they have migrated to, their furkids have always come with them. She said she will handle the neutering and we are allowed to visit. She has hired a maid especially for her one cocker spaniel and another cat when she’s not in the house. Orange’s new name is Max.
Choklat was taken by a malay girl who stays in bandar kinrara, puchong & works 8.30am to 5.30pm and has 3 other male cats in her house ( all neutered ). She has a regular vet that she goes to and has allowed us to spay Choklat when she is of age. She answered the questionnaire that Aunty Agnes gave me for all of them and sound eligible enough. They are all kept indoors ( apartment ) and when she is not around is sent to her parents house. She lives with 3 other house mates all of whom are ok with cats.
Cream was taken yesterday by another malay girl that lives with her family in gombak. She’s a first timer having a pet in the house and i had a chat with her about the responsibilities she has to take on in order to have Cream. She got a cage and sand and its food ready. They live in a terrace house ( their own for 10 years ) and the front grill and inner grill have wire mesh netting. Both parents work and she works as well ( shes 24 ) and has a 19 year old sister. When not in the house, kitten will stay in cage & when they are home kitten is allowed to be out of cage. She has also agreed to let us pick Cream up for neutering when is of right age. She has a vet nearby and a pet store nearby as well. I advised her on importance of getting to a doctor quickly if anything is amiss.
The only one left is the Mama Cat. Shes really lonely and sad…howling away in the cages at the back of the Vihara. 🙁 I spoke to aunty Agnes and she asked me to write to you asking if we can get an appointment made for Mama Cat at your panel vet this Thursday for spaying. She said you doctor does the side cut and doesn’t require the milk to dry up completely. I’m just really worried if it is too soon. 🙁
Please advice
Sincerely
Cassie
We have arranged for the mother-cat to be spayed tomorrow at our panel vet. We will sponsor in full.
